Cardboard Baler

February 19th, 2010 by Admin | Posted in Recycling

Businesses that have a high quantity of cardboard waste, should consider investing in a cardboard baler. Balers can compact and bale cardboard that can easily be taken to a recycling center.  Surprisingly, in the long run, a baler can be more cost effective than trash removal for large quantities of cardboard.  A business might find that they do not need as many dumpsters or as frequent trash removal with a  baler in hand.

When purchasing a baler for cardboard, there are several things that should be considered.  Most balers are relatively easy to use and can easily be used by any employee who is 18 years old or older.  Businesses should search for a baler that can be used with basic electrical outlets and that does not require any special electrical installation.  In fact, most balers should be easy enough to setup without the need for a professional to do so.

Consideration should be given to the space where the cardboard baler will be placed.  There are balers of different sizes and shapes.  Even mini balers can be purchased.  The baler will need to be set in a location where there will be room to load the baler and then to remove the cardboard that has been compacted and baled.  Businesses should search for a baler that can crush whole boxes and bale it at the same time.

It is not difficult at all to find balers to purchase.  In fact, an organization only needs to look online to find an assortment of companies selling balers.  Companies can take the time they need to compare prices and to look at the different types of balers that are available.

There are several positive aspects of using balers.  A company can use a baler to prepare cardboard for easy pickup or delivery to a recycling station.  In doing so, a business is helping doing their part to be more environmentally friendly.  Baled and compacted cardboard boxes will take up less space than boxes that are set aside for disposal.

A company can even earn some extra cash as a result of a cardboard baler.  Many recycling companies will pay for baled cardboard based on the weight.  A business that has a lot of cardboard waste can easily earn some extra cash.
